Buttercream Frosting
- 4 cups powdered sugar (or 1 pound)
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 2 - 3 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 - 2 TBSP milk
- Add softened butter and vanilla to bowl and mix until completely combined.
- Add powdered sugar and beat on low until incorporated.
- Increase speed to medium-high and beat. Scrape sides and bottom often. When completely mixed the frosting may appear dry.
- Add milk a little at a time until the frosting is the proper consistency.
