- For the Salad:
- 3 cups cooked fusilli or rotini pasta (al dente)
- ½ cup diced celery
- ½ cup diced carrots
- ¼ cup finely chopped red onion
- ¼ cup diced red or green bell pepper
- ¼ cup chopped dill pickles (optional)
- For the Dressing:
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup sour cream
- 1 tbsp white vinegar
- 2 tsp white sugar
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp mustard (Dijon or yellow)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Cook the pasta until al dente according to package instructions. Drain, rinse with cold water, and set aside to cool.
- Dice all vegetables and pickles finely for even texture.
- In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, vinegar, sugar, mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
