Creamy Garlic Prawns Thermomix Recipe
This creamy garlic prawns recipe made in a Thermomix is a quick, rich, and flavorful dish perfect for weeknight dinner
- 10 cloves garlic
- 1 red chili, deseeded and roughly chopped
- 20 grams unsalted butter
- 900 grams green prawns, shelled
- 60 grams lime juice (or lemon juice)
- Pink salt flakes and cracked black pepper, to taste
- 50 grams cream or coconut cream
- 400-600 grams cooked fettuccine or pasta of choice
- Fresh thyme or parsley, for garnish
- Lemon or lime wedges, for serving
Place garlic, chili, and butter in the Thermomix bowl; chop 4 seconds at speed 5. Scrape down sides.
- Sauté for 5 minutes, Varoma temperature, speed 1.
- Add prawns to the bowl; cook for 5 minutes, Varoma temperature, reverse speed 1 with the spatula guard.
- Add lime juice, salt, pepper, and cream; cook for 2 minutes, Varoma temperature, reverse speed 1 with spatula guard.
- Toss cooked fettuccine through the sauce in the bowl, adding a little pasta cooking water if needed to loosen the sauce.
- Garnish with fresh thyme or parsley and serve with lemon or lime wedges.
