Sour Cream Cookies

  • 1/2 cup soft butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 cup sour cream

Topping Mixture:

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp. cinnamon
  1. Preheat over to 350°F.
  2. Cream butter and sugar.
  3. Add vanilla.
  4. Add eggs; beat until fluffy.
  5. Shift flour, salt, and soda together.
  6. Add flour mixture alternately with sour cream, mix thoroughly.
  7. Drop medium-sized spoonfuls onto greased baking sheet, 2-3" apart.
  8. Sprinkle with sugar mixture.
  9. Bake for about 12 minutes - watch carefully, bottoms burn easily, don't over bake.
